Yazılıma ilgi çoğunlukla merakla başlar. Bir şeyin nasıl çalıştığını merak etmek, sorgulamak, anlamaya çalışmak. "Bu nasıl yapıldı?" sorusu sormak. Ben de farklı değildim. Yazılım benim için önce bir merak konusuydu — sonra bir tutku, sonra bir yaşam biçimi. Interest in software usually begins with curiosity. Wondering how something works, questioning it, trying to understand it. Asking "how was this made?" I was no different. Software was first a curiosity for me — then a passion, then a way of life.

Lokasyon bir kısıt olmaktan çıktı. Today, what a software developer needs is remarkably simple: a computer and an internet connection. If you have these two, you have an office, you have a workplace. You can be in Istanbul, Berlin, or Bali. Location is no longer a constraint.

One of the biggest advantages software offers is access to international markets. As a developer, you can sit in Turkey, earn in foreign currency, work with clients abroad, and contribute to international projects. Very few sectors offer this kind of opportunity.
Ama dürüst olmak gerekirse — bu herkes için kolay değil. Tam zamanlı bir işte çalışıyorsan, sabit bir ofisin ve mesai saatin varsa, bu özgürlüğü hissetmek zorlaşıyor. Yazılım tek başına sihirli bir çözüm sunmuyor. Nasıl çalıştığın, ne üzerine çalıştığın ve hangi modeli seçtiğin en az teknik bilgi kadar önemli. But to be honest — this isn't easy for everyone. If you're working full-time with a fixed office and set hours, feeling this freedom becomes harder. Software alone doesn't offer a magic solution. How you work, what you work on, and which model you choose matters at least as much as technical knowledge.
